Menthol partners up with dClimate!

The first decentralized network for climate data!

dClimate enables businesses to access climate information to understand its impact on our planet. They build data-driven tech solutions to help projects achieve their climate goals.

By doing so, dClimate solves a problem many stakeholders, who depend on accurate climate data, have: Most existing sources are expensive, do not follow any standards, and lack transparency. They are building a 2-sided ecosystem that allows you to get and share data!

Any publisher, be it a university, a researcher, or a citizen scientist, can upload its data to dClimate’s marketplace. They can then decide whether its contribution is for free or if it should be monetized.

Users of the consumer side can then search for this data by orientating on an impartial skill-score, reflecting the accuracy and liability of all available content.

dClimate uses Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network to validate the data and its evaluation onto the blockchain.

As for now, it is possible to shop for data with USD or DAI.

Menthol Protocol will benefit from dClimate’s database to verify the quality of our carbon removal suppliers. On the other hand, we will support dClimate as a climate leader in their ecosystem by becoming one of the first CoolPool creators.

Additionally, we will be happy to connect our big-data partners, who run regenerative farming, with dClimate’s reliable and easy-to-access climate database.

About dClimate

dClimate is a chain-agnostic, decentralized climate information ecosystem that makes it easy for businesses and builders to find, access, and utilize essential information about our planet to understand better how weather and climate impacts our communities and build data-driven technology solutions for helping communities achieve climate resilience.
